जनमार्ग

છેલ્લા કેટલાક વખતથી અમદાવાદના લોકોને બૂમાબૂમ કરતા મેં સાંભળ્યા છે કે આખું અમદાવાદ ખોદાયેલું છે. એવું કહેવાય છે કે

यहां खूदा है, वहां खूदा है,

जहां आज नहीं खूदा है, वहां कल खूदेगा.

સામાન્ય પ્રજાને જો કે બહુ ખબર નથી હોતી કે આ ખોદકામ શેના ચાલતા હોય છે એટલે એમની ધીરજ ખૂટી જાય છે. પણ વાસ્તવિકતા એ છે કે અત્યારે અમદાવાદમાં ઘણાં બધાં પ્રોજેક્ટ એકસાથે ચાલી રહ્યા છે ઇન્ફ્રાસ્ટ્રક્ચર ડેવલપ કરવા માટે. જેમાં મુખ્યત્વે બીઆરટીએસ કોરીડોર, ફ્લાય ઓવર, રસ્તાને પહોળા બનાવવા વગેરે જેવા કામ સામેલ છે.

આ બધાં કામોમાં મુખ્ય યોજના છે બીઆરટીએસની જેનું નામ છે "जनमार्ग". આ યોજના પર પ્રકાશ નાંખતી (ટોમ ટોમ કરતી) એક વિડીયો યુ ટ્યુબ પર છે.

 

આ વિડીયો થકી સામાન્ય માણસને હથેળીમાં ચાંદ બતાવાયો છે પણ જોવાનું એ છે કે સામાન્ય માણસ આમાંથી કેટલું મેળવે છે અને આ યોજના ક્યારે કાર્યરત થાય છે? આશા રાખું કે જે પ્રમાણે આ વિડીયોમાં બતાવાયું છે એ જ પ્રમાણે યોજનાનો અમલ પણ થાય.

અમદાવાદ બીઆરટીએસની વધૂ માહિતી વિકી પર પણ છે. જૂન 2009 સુધીમાં આ સેવા ચાલુ થવાની હતી પણ મને ખબર નથી કે આ સેવા હજી સુધી ચાલુ થઇ કે નહીં?

NaMo as teacher

Today I found this post on DeshGujart website. In this post, NaMo has been shown taking a class of primary students in Gujarat.

Every year at the time of starting academic year, NaMo organise such campaigns to enroll children into the school. The idea behind the campaigns is quiet noble i.e. सर्व शिक्षा अभियान". But seeing NaMo taking class himself and taking active part is campaign really makes me feel happy.

I sincerly hope this is not just a publicity gimmick. In the recent general election NaMo tried his best to install Mr. Advani as prime minister but his appeal couldn’t reach the masses. Also, NaMo got knee jerk result in his own state by just managing 15 seats which shows that still he needs to do a bit more in order to win the confidance of even a  people of Gujarat. Perhaps it will take some time for him to become more acceptable and make his presence felt across the length n breadth of India.
